Nurkovic joined the Soweto giants back in 2019 from Serbian outfit Komarno and spent the last three seasons at Amakhosi, where he went on to score 21 goals and assisted a further 10 from 78 appearances across all competitions.
His best season with Chiefs came in his first campaign with Amakhosi under then coach Ernst Middendorp, during which he contributed to 20 goals, including 14 goals and six assists in 31 all competitions.
“Kaizer Chiefs will not extend Samir Nurković’s contract when it expires on 30 June 2022, ending a three-year relationship. The popular Serbian forward began his Chiefs career like a house on fire, scoring 14 goals in his maiden season,” Chiefs posted on their official Twitter page.
